The Bedford 14-184 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 167024 manifold filter. A 30-mesh screen has 30 openings per linear inch, providing coarse filtration well suited for heavy-bodied latex paints, block fillers, and elastomeric coatings. This filter is installed downstream of the pump manifold to remove particles before they reach the spray gun and tip.
Common reasons this filter is replaced:
- Restricted flow through the manifold causing pressure drop at the gun
- Visible contamination or particle buildup in the filter element
- Damaged or deformed screen from aggressive cleaning or wear
- Routine filter replacement during scheduled sprayer maintenance
