Valve Ball
The Bedford 9-1257 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 178746 valve ball used in Graco pump fluid sections. This ball is a core sealing element of the pump's check valves, controlling one-way flow, and it wears from the constant abrasion of pumping material under pressure.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Loss of prime or inconsistent pressure
- Fluid bypass past a worn or out-of-round ball
- Ball failing to seat against the valve
- Routine replacement during pump rebuild
