1/4" NPT x 1/4" NPT 5000 PSI Ball Valve
The Bedford 29-1440 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 238635 high pressure ball valve, a 1/4" NPT x 1/4" NPT shutoff valve rated to 5000 PSI for airless fluid lines. Both ends use 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads, the self-sealing tapered standard on U.S. spray equipment. Fitted between the pump and fluid hose, it lets operators isolate the line or relieve pressure safely before servicing the system.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid weeping past the stem or handle when closed
- Ball or seat wear preventing a complete shutoff
- Seals degraded after prolonged solvent exposure
- Handle or stem wear making the valve hard to operate
